This policy explains how the InvoiceCV app and website collect, use and protect your data when you create invoices, quotes and CVs and use the PDF tools across the GCC.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, mobile number (optional), country, and your password stored hashed.
  • Business data you enter: clients, products and services, invoices and quotes, CVs, and any logo or images you upload.
  • Files: images and PDFs used in the PDF tools are processed on your device or temporarily on our servers and are kept only if you choose to save them to My documents.
  • Purchase data: plan, subscription status and the transaction ID from the App Store, Google Play or the payment gateway. We never receive or store your card numbers.
  • Limited technical data: device type, OS, app version, error logs and aggregated usage statistics to improve the service.

2. Device permissions

  • Camera: to scan documents into PDF.
  • Photos and files: to pick images, PDFs or a logo.
  • Contacts: only when you tap Import from contacts to add a client; we do not upload your address book.
  • Face ID / fingerprint: to lock the app locally; biometric data never leaves your device.
  • You can deny any permission and the other features keep working.

3. How we use data

  • Run your account, store your documents and sync them between app and web.
  • Generate invoice and CV PDFs and send account emails (verification, password reset) from [email protected].
  • Activate and verify your subscription with the store or payment gateway.
  • Security, abuse prevention and legal compliance.
  • We do not sell your data, use it for targeted ads, or track you across other apps or websites.

4. Sharing with third parties

  • Hosting, database and email providers that process data only on our behalf.
  • Apple, Google and our licensed online payment gateway to process and verify payments.
  • The CV AI assistant (if you use it): only the text you ask to improve is sent to the AI provider to produce the suggestion.
  • Authorities where legally required.

5. Retention and deletion

  • We keep your data while your account is active.
  • You can delete your account and all its data at any time in the app: Account → Delete account, or by emailing us. Deletion completes within 30 days at most, except payment records we must keep by law.
  • Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription; cancel it in the store settings.

6. Security

  • Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, and data access is scoped to your account.

7. Your rights

  • You may access, correct, export and delete your data and withdraw consent, under applicable GCC laws (e.g. Saudi PDPL, Bahrain PDPL, UAE PDPL).

8. Children

  • The service is for business owners and job seekers and is not directed at children under 13.

9. Changes and contact
